Rental-car pickup inspection checklist
Before moving the vehicle, confirm the exterior loop, wheels, glass, roof, cabin, cargo area, odometer and energy level. Record paperwork separately and keep close-ups tied to a context view.
Begin at the front and move in one direction so no side is assumed complete.
Photograph all four wheels low enough to show rim, tyre and nearby panel.
Capture odometer and fuel/battery displays while stationary and legible.
Review every skip and wait for local-save confirmation before departure.
